I have never heard of an elevator triggering a seizure. I am sure in the history of time people have had them in elevators but I wouldn’t worry to much about the elevator itself triggering one. Now thinking of escalators… you know I have no idea about that but I can see why you might find that to be a concern. It would be something interesting to look up though.
I guess the only concern would be with pressure changes and oxygen levels. But Your right, I don’t think that there is a large pressure change when going up in an elevator. I might look that up just to find out for sure though.
Makes sense, I wonder if that’s what makes flying so difficult. I would venture to imagine that the pressure changes during flying could defiantly offset the amount of oxygen in the brain.
I work in a tall building with lots of elevators. Does moving in an elevator or escalator for long distances cause a person to start having seizures? I know this could be really dumb but as I posted in my intro I have a new job and a co worker with epilepsy.
