Nothing that I know of. I think that the taste buds are not used to eating foods with low-protein so some people find it unpleasing to the taste.
Like Melchor said, it is all about getting used on the food. At first, the recipes I eat prepared as low-protein tastes bland as I’m used to eating meat. After some time, I become accustomed to it and I liked it already.
I see what the two of you mean. It’s all about the taste buds, and getting them accustomed to the diet we eat on a daily basis. It’s hard at first, but I guess we all get used to it after a while.
I always am seeing all these recipes for foods for those of us on low protein diets, and how people rave about how good they are. Is there any specific recipes you have tried that have turned out tasting terrible?
