My nephew who has PKU has his 4th birthday coming up and we are having a party. What are some low protein snacks and foods that we can serve that everyone will enjoy?

Those are some great recipes.  I can’t wait to try them too.  Thanks for posting links.  Which one do you like the most?  I’d like to try that one first.

That is a great list. The pictures are mouth-watering.

Where can I buy the ingredients for these recipes? I would love to try them but I’m not sure where I can get the ingredients.

Popcorn and pretzels are easy snacks to have at a party. Skittles and starburst are also great options. Instead of ice cream you could have sorbet.

MMM sorbet is good stuff, and I have always liked that more than most. I like the idea of little frozen snacks for kid parties too, it just seems more fun (esp. on a warm summer day).

It’s really hard to come up with something special by yourself.  You can get creative but after you’ve been on the diet for so long you sort of get stuck in a rut.  Nice recipes and I’ll be using some of these!

Those recipes are a nice treat for everyone and not just for those who can’t eat foods that has high-protein. I will try to cook those for the birthday of my mom next month. She was advised by the doctor to eat low protein foods when they found out that her blood pressure is higher than normal.
